BFF

They awaken us before we are ready to rise.

They get us out of our comfort zones

And make us exercise.

They increase our daily chores
and

share in none.

They beg for our attention,

sleep when they are ignored,

They are the ones we mention

Until other friends are bored.

They never cook for us but

are eager to eat when we feed them.

They make us laugh, they make us swear,

They cause us to spend much on their care.

They bring us joy and comfort
most of the time.

They know when we are not feeling well and

They love us unconditionally.

They somehow fill the gap of spouse and children.

They are our best friends forever, really!
